Simon Percy

Simon has over 30 years of experience in post and VFX, starting out editing music videos before founding Darkside Studios in 2000. Since then, he has led teams on projects for NETFLIX, MGM, Discovery, ITV, and the BBC, always staying hands-on and close to the creative process.  Through his love of film, Simon is passionate about both the craft and the technology behind it, and is a strong advocate for the use of new VP and AI in production, championing tools that support artists and elevate storytelling without losing the human touch.
